ECSTeam is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for a major enterprise engagement located in DTC. Senior consultant must have extensive management and executive level success, broad technology expertise in enterprise architecture, application development, and large-scale systems and data integration. Must be an expert in directing organizations for strategic planning and implementation of business-aligned enterprise solutions.  Demonstrated skills to build & communicate the IT vision across the organization, ensuring alignment with executive team goals, and directing releases for strategic incorporation of capabilities and competitive advantage. 
 
There will be multiple development projects using Java, Weblogic and Oracle SOA and well as portal development work. This Senior Project Manager will be running these projects simultaneously, tracking deliverables as well as oversight of our senior consultant team.  PMP or very formal project management methodology experience, proven delivery experience, great communicator and negotiator, technical background, and strong understanding of development. Telecommunications would be a major plus.

Project Time & Cost, Inc., an Atlanta, GA based international project management; cost and forensic engineering firm is currently seeking Primavera Schedulers in Los Alamos NM for Los Alamos National Lab (LANL).   (Added 8/29/2011)
 
Job Duties
·         Provide support to the project management team in the form of project scheduling, monitoring and analysis.
·         Work closely with project management team in setting project goals and analyzing the status of projects. Candidate is responsible for insuring the timely creation and maintenance of project schedules and reports.
·         Must be able to integrate construction or Department of Energy “DOE” schedules into a master program schedule and continuously monitor progress with milestones and autonomy as well as develop and implement a monthly earned value analysis report.
·          Create, monitor and maintain multiple schedules using Primavera P6. Aid the team in defining the projects goals, objectives, success factors etc.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
·         Must have experience with Primavera (P6).
·         Must have 10+ years experience as a cost engineer/scheduler
·         4 year degree required
·         Must understand and utilizes PM processes and philosophies to advise management on project status.
·          Actively participants with the project management team assisting in meeting project deadlines.
·         Works effectively with internal and external clients.
·         Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
·         Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and personnel both verbally and written.
·         Performs other duties as assigned
·         Travel may be extensive depending on clients needs

Position: Project Services Manager (Added 7/25/2011)
 
Job Description:
The Project Services Manager is responsible for the development, direction and implementation of Project Control Services along with appropriate information systems and procedures. Position is responsible for coordination with the EPCM team and in particular the Project Manager and Construction Manager to develop a common approach to Project Controls.
 
Coordinate with the EPCM Contractor Project Controls Manager (cost control, scheduling and estimating) to ensure that the reporting and scheduling is in accordance with the Owner requirements. Coordinate with the Mining and Environmental Departments to implement cost reporting as per their needs.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         To develop standards and to manage all aspects of planning, cost estimating, cost control function
·         To advise the Project Manager of any potential client risk issues;
·         To provide cost, schedule and progress reports to the Project Manager as required;
·         To provide continuous provision of information for the purposes of Project Control to all members of the Project Team;
·         To compile and oversee the formal risk management function of the Project.
·         To represent the company in the management of the Project and required reporting
·         To oversee the project services staff and compilation of Project Reports
·         To apply the best practice procedures for Project control
·         To manage Project Planning that reflect the best interests of the company
·         To manage Cost Estimating in a properly coordinated manner during the preparation, review, amendment, approval and acceptance
·         To manage Cost Control such that it is carried out thoroughly in accordance with management requirements and maintain data such that a full perspective of the current and
       forecast cost is always available for the Project Manager and other designated budget stakeholders
·         To manage the correct level of reporting at all levels of detail to provide the required information to the Project Team, the Project Management and to Executive Management
·         To manage the process that maintains and files the relevant project control closeout data
·         To manage the staffing process for Project Controls such that competent, experienced and cost effective staff are identified, recruited, trained and assigned to the project
·         To participate in project meetings and make presentations as required by the Project Team
 
Education and Qualifications:
·         Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years experience in cost control, scheduling and estimating
·         Professional membership PMP or CCM preferred

Job Title: Project Controls with CURRENT Q CLEARANCE

 

Location: Los Alamos National Labs, Los Alamos, NM
Number of Openings: 3 [Project Controls 3 (2 openings) Project Controls 4 (1 opening)]
Duration: 2 years plus (long term contract)
Pay Rate: $50-65/hr (based upon experience)
No Relocation, No Per Diem

Minimum Qualifications:
~ Must have a CURRENT Q CLEARANCE
~ Must be willing to be in the HRP program and submit to random polygraphs at any time
~ Must be an expert in Primavera P6 - Administrator Level Experience
~ Must be able familiar with reporting, global changes, calendars, activity codes, and resource dictionary in Primavera P6 (not just entering data into P6)
~ Must be proficient with MS Access and/or MS Excel (able to push data from P6 to other databases)
~ Must be familiar with the Theory of Earned Value
~ PMP Preferred
~ Prism Experience Preferred
~ Must be familiar with the entire scope of a large project, not just the scheduling and planning
~ Weapons and/or R&D experience is a plus

Summary
Performs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities. Supports project organizational and administrative activities, when delegated. Supervises and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities, when delegated. Ensures work is completed as scheduled. Identifies trends for management attention. Has wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and Laboratory objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Considered expert in field within the organization. Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Work is accomplished without considerable direction. May coordinate activities of other personnel. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment, and determines the methods and procedures needed for new assignments.
